Ravus Customer Balance App for Stripe Privacy Policy
Last Update: Dec. 2025Effective date: December 2nd, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how the Customer Balance Stripe App (the “App”) and Ravus Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us”) collect, use, and protect information.
The Customer Balance Stripe App was created by Ravus Inc.
1. App-Specific Privacy Policy
1.1 What the App DoesThe App displays billing and balance information on a customer page within Stripe. It queries data already stored in Stripe, performs lightweight calculations (e.g., outstanding balance totals and available balance), and presents results back to you inside Stripe.
1.2 Data Accessed
To provide the App’s features, the App accesses data related to the following:
- Customer records
- Invoices and invoice line items
Stripe natively provides access to basic information about the end-user’s Account.
The App does not:
- Collect information directly from users
- Store any customer data externally
- Use cookies, tracking tools, or external analytics services
- Stripe natively provides basic app analytics such as app installs and app listing views.
1.3 Where Data Is Processed
Customer data never leaves Stripe. The App runs within Stripe’s environment, reads data from Stripe APIs, performs calculations, and renders output in Stripe. The App does not export, transmit, or replicate Stripe customer data to external servers.
1.4 Data Storage and Retention
The App does not store customer personal data outside Stripe. Any temporary processing is ephemeral and used only to generate the on-screen results. The App does not maintain a separate database of Stripe customer information.
Because the App does not store any user or customer data independently:
- No copies of billing data are created.
- No data leaves Stripe’s environment.
Security protections, encryption, and access controls are fully managed by Stripe. The App inherits these protections and does not introduce additional data storage risk.
The app retains no data. All customer and billing information remains solely within Stripe’s systems and is retained according to their retention policies.
1.5 Data Sharing
Because data does not leave Stripe, the App does not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties. Access is limited to what the app user authorizes through Stripe’s permission system.
- No External Sharing
- The App does not transmit, share or export any data outside Stripe
- Legal Requirements
- If required by applicable law or a valid legal request, the app may rely on Stripe’s mechanisms for disclosure.
1.6 Security
The App relies on Stripe’s security controls, authentication, authorization scopes, and audit logging. We follow least-privilege access principles, so the App only requests the minimum permissions required.
1.7 Your Choices
The App user controls the App’s access through Stripe. Permissions may be revoked at any time by uninstalling the App.
Since the App does not store or process data independently, requests regarding access, permissions, or deletion must be directed to Stripe.
The App will reflect any data changes made within the Stripe Account.
2. Company-Level Privacy Policy
