Why we exist
Ravus was founded by a team of passionate quote-to-cash practitioners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for companies plagued by billing and revenue management hurdles. It’s really that simple. We don’t think working with strangers to make your vision a reality has to be painful, and we’re ready to prove it.
We bring strategy, technology, and domain expertise to our customers and partners, enhancing their ability to be agile, resourceful, and resilient when managing revenue and monetizing new offerings. An inability to quickly introduce monetization strategies and accurately capture revenue is no longer an inconvenience. It’s an urgent issue that comes at the cost of growth and requires a combination of expertise and technology to fix.
Ravus (we pronounce it Rave-us) is the direct latin translation of the word Grizzly. As a company founded by a team of Montanans, we can’t think of a better nod to our state than to affiliate our business with our state animal. We find the parallels between a Grizzly and business to be many, both in how our customers run their businesses and how we want to operate as a corporation.
As far as what the Grizzly means to us, we aspire to build a team of blue-ribbon consultants in our own backyard. We value conserving the world around us, and the Grizzly reminds us to put corporate focus on how we are impacting our natural resources and investing in their longevity.

Chelsea’s experience bridges the gap between business and technical leadership. Fueled by a passion for problem-solving, she is dedicated to building dynamic teams and the delivery of scalable solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of Ravus’ clients and partners. A background in Project Management and Billing Solution Architecture provides the foundation for Chelsea's delivery viewpoint.
Chelsea and her family prioritize time on the river during Montana's warmer seasons and spend a good chunk of the winter on the local chairlifts.

Derek Magnusen
Derek has spent the past two decades building and leading teams hyper-focused on delivering world class customer service and outcomes. Derek’s focus in his consulting career has been delivering successful Revenue Transformations, with a sharp focus on the Billing Domain. Having worked with many leading software companies in this space, Derek brings a well-rounded viewpoint on the market to Ravus’ clients.
Derek lives in Missoula, MT with his wife, two children, and their dog. When he is not working, you will likely find him standing in a river trying to fool a trout.

Elena Merrill
For over 15 years, Elena has been dedicated to assisting individuals and organizations by leveraging technology to address and solve complex problems. Her expertise lies in enabling teams to work seamlessly together to drive exceptional customer outcomes, focused on the high tech, Transportation/ logistics and Communications industries. Elena has spent the better part of the last decade as an architect, curating solutions within Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
Elena is an avid horsewoman and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. She and her husband, along with their two children, have what is turning into a hobby farm with two dogs, two horses and most recently, four goats.

Mitch Colyer
Mitch’s career is grounded in quote-to-cash transformations and system implementation. From project inception through launch and beyond, he’s a practitioner, having served as a solution and enterprise architect across multiple tech stacks.
Mitch is a lifelong Montanan with a passion for the outdoors. He’s an avid hunter, fly-fisher, and trail runner. Mitch and his wife, Brooke, have one son and another on the way, due September 2024!
